Compact headend (Compact and Modular Headends) Titanum 8700 - featuring 4 DVB-S/S2 tuners for 4 MUX outputs (DVB-T/C) / 2CI slots
The transmodulator is an ideal solution for distributing terrestrial DVB-T signal or DVB-C cable TV.
The headend is used for transmodulating DVB-S/S2 (8PSK/QPSK) signal into DVB-T/C (QAM) signal. It converts the signal from any 4 DVB-S/S2 satellite transponders into 4 DVB-T or DVB-C signal multiplexes
Selected satellite channels from one SAT frequency (FTA-unencrypted or encrypted) are converted into DVB-T or DVB-C MUX.
One multiplex, depending on the content, can accommodate approx. 4 HD channels or approx. 8 SD channels. 8700 can create approx. 16-32 channels.
