The presented set is one of the two best antenna configurations for large ships - container ships, cruise ships, tankers, barges, bulk carriers, reservoir vessels and other types of large watercraft. Ideal for long voyages far from the coast. Poynting is an international manufacturer of specialist antennas for various industries. A team of specialists ensures that your signal is always strong and the network reliable. The presented MARINE PRO set is a solution for everyone who has so far dreamed of satisfactory GSM and WiFi network coverage during offshore sailing. It is probably one of the best sets for these applications on the international market.
OMNI 902 marine antenna
The OMNI-902 antenna is a new product on the market that introduces the OMNI-9xx series. These are highly specialized antennas that leave all the competition far behind when it comes to omnidirectional antennas suitable for marine applications. Never before have any antennas pulled in signal from such long distances and amplified it enough that they can be used on the largest ships. The antenna impresses not only with its size, but also with excellent, even coverage of all modern LTE/5G frequency bands. The antenna design consists of two high-gain antennas, hence its very good results. And what about its durability? The manufacturer has taken care of that as well. The antenna meets IP68 standards, which means resistance to water and dust. The housing is also resistant to salt in seawater, so it will survive even the biggest storms and gales. The OMNI-902 marine antenna is a purchase for many years, and extreme conditions will not make it show its age.

2x WiFi antenna OMNI 496
This is an antenna operating in the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands. This means support for bands intended for WiFi signal reception. It is a long-range omnidirectional antenna. Antennas in lower bands provide long-range reception from the transmitter, while their throughput is quite limited, i.e. a smaller number of devices can use the network without reception interference. However, additional higher frequencies compensate for this, therefore when handling signal near large towns, the antenna switches to a higher band, still providing a strong signal. The dBi level ? that is, the antenna gain compared to an isotropic antenna, is 6 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 7.5 dBi in the 5 GHz band. The higher this designation, the better signal gain we can generate from the antenna. The antenna is best suited for boats and yachts sailing on inland waters as well as ships heading out to open sea. The use of two antennas in this set makes WiFi reception very good even on remote sea waters. It provides reception practically almost everywhere.

Below is the detailed specification of each antenna in the set:
Poynting OMNI-902 wideband omnidirectional antenna
OMNI-902 is an ultra-wideband, high-performance omnidirectional antenna that covers current 4G/LTE operating frequencies and future 5G with excellent balanced gain across all frequencies. The antenna’s ultra-wideband performance allows operation in the range from 617 to 4200 MHz, with a peak gain of 8 dBi. The antenna is future-proof because it covers the upcoming LTE band 71 (617 to 698 MHz band), as well as the CBRS band 3400 to 3800 MHz, which will be used in future 5G applications. Thanks to this, the antenna can be used in all parts of the world and guarantees signal reception almost everywhere. The antenna design enables excellent pattern control across the full frequency range, making the OMNI-902 a truly high-performance omnidirectional antenna suitable for marine and coastal applications. Exceptional wideband performance is an important factor for LTE and future 5G technologies, where these technologies rely on features such as Carrier Aggregation (CA) to provide the best possible reception and throughput across multiple frequency bands simultaneously.

Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR)
VSWR is a measure of how efficiently radio frequency power is transmitted from the power source through the transmission line to the load. In an ideal system, 100% of the energy is transmitted, corresponding to a VSWR ratio of 1:1. OMNI-902 provides excellent performance across all bands with a VSWR ratio of 2.5:1 or better in over 90% of bands. + Antenna VSWR measured using a 2-meter low-loss cable
