BIRA XS00UW-C electric strike
The XS series electric strikes are slim (only 16.2 mm wide) and have small dimensions, allowing them to be installed in narrow profiles and door frames. They are built symmetrically ? they are perfect for left and right doors of various types. The catch is adjustable in 3.5mm and has a radial shape (it does not go beyond the outline of the electric strike) - it requires a smaller hole, which makes installation easier and faster.
The XS00UW-C additional model is equipped with a slip and a switch.
Slip is another way of guiding the handle tongue, it ensures its smooth operation and protects the doorframe from damage. It also prevents the handle lock tongue from falling into the space between the electric strike and the doorframe, which can cause the door to lock. The slide integrated into the electric strike, as well as the slide used in the striker plate, is ideal for flapless (rimless) doors and narrow door frames. The special design of the electric striker latch mechanism and the special casing that covers the electric striker latch mechanism with a slip to the lock tongue causes opening with minimal swing.
A mechanical switch disconnects the electric control of the electric door strike, allowing the door to remain open regardless of electrical impulses until the switch is switched again. An electric door strike with a mechanical switch is often referred to as an electric door strike with a ? "day-night" function.
